Managing Additional Contacts Print

  • 0

Do you have additional people on your team that you would like to grant access to for support tickets, billing information, or management of your account with OnTheCloud.co?  That's not a problem here as our system allows you to add an unlimited amount of contacts to your account, each with their own set of permissions and each with their own login information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I add new contacts to my account?

A: To add additional contacts to your account, simply do the following...

  1. Once logged into OnTheCloud.com, click on "Hello,  <your name>" in the top right corner and select "Contacts/Sub-Accounts"
  2. Select "Add New Contact" in the "Choose Contact" drop-down
  3. Fill in all of the requested information and set the permissions at the bottom of the page as you see fit
  4. Click "Save" and let the new user know what their login information is (username is always the email address)

Q: How do I update existing contacts in my account?

A: To see what contacts you already have in your account, simply do the following...

  1. Once logged into OnTheCloud.com, click on "Hello,  <your name>" in the top right corner and select "Contacts/Sub-Accounts"
  2. Select the contact in the "Choose Contact" drop-down
  3. Change any information on the page as you see fit and click "Save"

That will give you a drop-down at the top where you can select each contact already setup and modify their information as needed.  You can also delete contacts if you'd like by using the buttons at the bottom of the page.

Q: What happens if one of my contacts calls in or submits a support ticket?

A: If one of your contacts calls in or submits a support ticket, we will only be able to speak with them about items they are granted access to in the Contact Manager.  If you would like to add a contact to the system, but not give them login access at OnTheCloud.co, simply assign the permission they should have and uncheck the box that says "Tick to configure as a sub-account with client area access" under "Active Sub-Account."
